After School Nanny – Phoenixville, PA
Position: Part-Time Nanny
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2–7 pm (or 3–8 pm). Longer days (up to 10 hrs) when kids are out of school/summer.
Compensation: $25/hr + weekly gas stipend
Start Date: ASAP
A warm and active family in Phoenixville is seeking an experienced after-school nanny to care for their two children (ages 8 and 10). The children attend school across the street from the family home, and after-school activities include soccer, gymnastics, and dance.
Meet children after school and oversee the transition home safely
Supervise homework, play, and after-school activities
Provide snacks and simple meals for the children, assist with occasional family meal prep
Transport children to extracurricular activities (using your own vehicle; gas stipend provided)
Manage children’s laundry, organize backpacks and lunchboxes, and handle light tidying (dishwasher, play areas, etc.)
Encourage outdoor play and positive routines during downtime
Prior childcare experience, preferably with school-age children
Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage strong personalities (experience with ADHD or emotional regulation support is a plus)
Comfort setting boundaries while maintaining a nurturing and understanding approach
Legal to work in the U.S. with excellent references
Driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
The ideal nanny is patient, proactive, and emotionally attuned, able to guide children through big feelings with empathy while keeping afternoons structured and positive. Someone who enjoys being active, supports independence, and isn’t afraid to jump into play or sports will thrive. A calm but confident presence, with strong communication skills, is key in this role.
$25/hr + $25 weekly gas stipend
