This is a hybrid role (3/2) and can be worked in Overland Park, KS, Bellevue, WA, Atlanta, GA, Frisco, TX or Reston, VA.

As a member of the Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance - Commercial team, you have the unique opportunity to an impact on T-Mobile’s compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements and security standards.


You will be instrumental in enabling T-Mobile’s compliance to regulations and standards such as SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls), ISO27001 (International Organization for Standardization), CPNI (Customer Proprietary Network Information for FCC), NY DFS (New York Department of Financial Services), GLBA (Graham-Leach-Bliley Act), and others.


The Analyst will…
Represent Commercial Compliance as they explain the regulatory and contractual requirements and security standards for the people, processes, and technologies impacted across the enterprise.
Maintain and enhance compliance programs by documenting scope and accreditation boundary, developing and testing controls, supporting facilitation of audits and assessments, and tracking gaps and remdiation.
Effectively communicate the status, risks, and issues associated with the compliance program.
Provide input to projects, initatives, tools, and prociess improvements.
Build strong relationships and partnerships within own organization and across technology and business teams.

Job Description:

  • Works with cross functional groups and staff in the creation, testing, and documenting procedures, standard or regulatory controls to ensure the security and privacy of information on T-Mobile’s Network.
  • Participate in information security and compliance review of new technologies, designs, and remediation planning efforts, considering impact to compliance.
  • Serves as liaison between Cybersecurity, IT Operations, engineering, upper management & department representatives to maximize the adoption of and support for info compliance plans, procedures, and regulatory controls.
  • Participates in identifying compliance needs, such as risks, controls, or processes, systems, and technology improvements; recommends plans/resolutions; monitors compliance improvements.
  • Contribute to security projects driven by groups both internal and external to info security.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with IT governance, compliance, risk, and audit programs
  • Knowledge of IT, security, or network technologies and/or ability understand and speak about various areas of IT technology and security
  • Previous experience with ISO27001, SOC2, PCI, or similar compliance regulations
  • Experience supporting audits and assessments
  • IT security control development, testing, and risk remediation

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in info security technology or related field Required)

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) (Preferred)

Additional Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Washington Pay Range: $91,400 - $123,700
  • The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
  • At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
