Position Overview:

AGM Management seeks a skilled and reliable full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring that our 37-unit property is well-maintained and operating efficiently. You will perform complex maintenance tasks, diagnose issues, and provide timely solutions to ensure tenant and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, common areas, parking lots, and other community buildings.
2. Remove trash from the common areas and the apartment community perimeter daily.
3. Assist in preparing units, including removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) before make-ready.
4. Assist the Maintenance Technician/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks on time.
5. Assisted in the cleaning of available apartments and/or models.
6. Assist in the troubleshooting/repair of mechanical, carpentry, electrical problems, painting, and drywall repair. 
7. Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications are a plus).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Familiarity with tools, equipment, and machinery used in maintenance work.
• Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams to perform necessary repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Standing, bending, and working in various environments (indoor/outdoor) for extended periods.
• Ability to use ladders and other safety equipment.
