We are seeking a vigilant and experienced Armed Security Officer to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and visitors.

Job Description:
As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment on our school premises. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and patrolling school grounds
• Responding to security incidents and emergencies
• Conducting regular security checks
• Collaborating with school administration to enhance safety protocols
• Providing a reassuring presence for our school community

Qualifications:

• Retired Police Officer Preferred: Experience in law enforcement is highly valued.
• Armed Security Experience: Proven track record in armed security roles.
• Valid SORA Card: Must hold a current Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) card.
• Valid NJ Carry Permit: Required to carry a firearm on school premises.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful school environment
