Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technician 's responsibilities include removal and installation of vehicle components including high voltage components and harnessing. Taking part in keeping a clean work environment. Occasional travel if necessary.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

R&D Technician:

• Teardown and Rebuild vehicles.
• Work with High-Voltage vehicles / components.
• Assemble mechanical components according to specifications / build prints.
• Examine assembled parts and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
• Repair, replace or rebuild mechanical systems on vehicles.
• Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
• Assist in other mechanical work as needed.
• Ability to be self-sufficient.
• Drive vehicles on designated routes.
• Deliver components to offsite locations.
• Hold a valid Chauffeur driver's license. If not already held, we are willing to cover the cost of obtaining it.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Effective oral and written communication skills both up and down throughout the company.
• Proficient in problem analysis and resolution.
• Strong cross functional team player

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Computer literacy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High school diploma/GED required (associate degree preferred)
• 2+ years' experience performing automotive services.
• Clean driving record
• Reliable Transportation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Basic metal working (Grinding, cutting, ETC.)
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
