Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Key Responsibilities:

- Actively communicate with clients to update and categorize their bank transactions, while creating and analyzing financial statements for their businesses.
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts, ensuring accurate monthly records.
- Employ strong analytical skills to review and interpret financial reports, maintaining a critical eye for detail.
- Collaborate with our team to prepare tax-ready financial statements at year-end.
- Participate in our weekly remote team meetings to stay connected and aligned with team goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree and/or 4-5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage bookkeeping for multiple clients simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A quiet workspace for client phone calls and remote meetings during normal business hours is needed; otherwise, you can work at your convenience. Most communication is conducted via email.
- Permanent citizenship or a work visa is required. Applicants must be available for a "face-to-face" interview via Google Meet before starting.
