Job Title: Brand Ambassador

Location: St Louis and surrounding counties

Job Type: Full-time/Hourly

Job Overview:
In only four short years, Missouri has surpassed Colorado to become the fifth largest cannabis state in the US.  We are growing and looking for a dedicated, full-time Brand Ambassador to join our Missouri Field Marketing Team. In this role, you will be the face of our company and brands, educating patients, consumers and staff, building relationships, and driving brand awareness through in-person events and local outreach. Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as in-person representative responsible for staff, patient, and consumers education to strengthen dispensary relationships
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and effectively communicate this knowledge at retail and events
  • Familiarize yourself with local cannabis laws and regulations, as Mana is committed to promoting safe, responsible use
  • Conduct scheduled in-store pop-up events
    • Events are typically held on evenings and/or weekends (most happening Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) and range from 3-6 hours per event (most events are 3 hours)
    • Special events may be longer hours and run multiple days
  • Work brand activations at special events – trade events, fairs/festivals, etc.
  • Conduct product education and sampling (where/when legal)
  • Represent all company brands in a positive energetic manner
  • Ensure that dispensary needs are met in terms of product inventory, product displays, and product education
  • Establish and maintain relationships with dispensary staff and store owners to ensure products are prominently featured and well-understood
  • Conduct unscheduled retail visits – relationship-building, check merchandising, bring pizza or snacks
  • Complete required event recaps and provide feedback on customer interactions, market trends, and suggestions for improving our outreach
Mandatory:
  • Reliable Transportation – Must have own vehicle - travel to dispensaries, different events, and community engagements
    • Travel is approximately 75% of the time throughout designated territory
    • Overnight travel may be required
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have a reliable cell phone
  • Must be able to pass a Missouri Highway Patrol Background check and obtain a Missouri Agent ID
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to speak one-on-one with patients, consumers, clients, etc.
  • Cannabis and event work experience preferred, but not mandatory
  • Must be comfortable working as one, or as a team
Physical Demand Requirements:
  • To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, you will walk, sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift objects weighing over 40 pounds
  • Ability to perform bends, lifts and moves continually and use repetitive motions
  • Ability to do stairs and at times rough terrain (ex: open fields/golf courses)
