Are you a visionary leader in healthcare with a passion for improving patient care and clinical effectiveness? We're seeking a dedicated Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join our team on a part-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and collaborate closely with the Group Leadership and other key medical professionals. Your mission will be to strengthen relationships between hospital management and medical staff, recruit new physicians, and drive clinical transformation efforts to enhance patient care quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Expertise: Provide strategic direction and leadership in hospital quality and clinical effectiveness.
Medical Education: Oversee graduate medical education programs, including those for medical students and residents.
Care Management: Optimize care management approaches, enhance patient satisfaction, and ensure appropriate resource utilization.
Patient-Centered Care: Lead initiatives to develop patient-centered care within the primary care network.
Data-Driven Improvement: Foster a culture of quality and cost improvement through data analysis and outcome measurement across various care settings.
Physician Collaboration: Monitor physician and group patterns, present data, and facilitate reviews with medical and hospital committees.
Quality Programs: Develop and implement effective quality management programs, including disease management and clinical protocols.
Regulatory Compliance: Create a performance database to meet regulatory requirements and quality indicators.
Team Collaboration: Partner with medical staff and management to promote teamwork and shared goals.
Strategic Leadership: Guide the organization in achieving excellent clinical, service, and financial outcomes through evidence-based practices.
Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve major physician-related concerns in collaboration with the executive team.
Development and Compliance: Ensure the implementation and maintenance of medical staff development plans and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications
MD or DO degree with completed residency training and board certification in a relevant specialty
Advanced degree in management (MBA, MHA, MMM, MPH) or equivalent experience preferred
Excellent communication skills and proven leadership abilities
Strong knowledge of hospital operations, quality processes, and medical staff management
Experience in quality improvement, clinical transformation, and physician development
