The Role You’ll Play to Create SuccessWe are excited to announce our search for a full-time Commercial Lines Underwriter! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by acquiring, developing and maintaining profitable new and renewal commercial lines accounts including, but not limited to workers compensation, monoline and packaged general liability, property, Inland Marine, crime, etc. through timely evaluation of individual risks, understanding market conditions and by providing good customer services for current and prospective clients.
Keys to success in this position include possessing the working knowledge of commercial casualty underwriting practices, workers’ compensation laws and costs, as well as knowledge of Independent agent and broker distribution and operations.
A minimum of three (3) years prior experience in commercial insurance to include agency and/or underwriting. Workers’ Compensation and Commercial General Liability experience desired. An associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred, a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
