If you have a passion for building and craftsmanship, along with a solid background in woodworking and plumbing, we want to hear from you! This role requires physical stamina, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Join us in creating exceptional structures and environments that stand the test of time.ResponsibilitiesPerform various construction tasks including woodworking and plumbing.Operate and maintain a variety of tools and machinery, including palm routers, manual grinders, and vertical mills.Cut, drill and assemble parts to accurate drawing specifications using tape measure, squares and levels.Install Drywall, Flooring, Doors and Fixtures.Utilize shop math skills to ensure accurate measurements and calculations.Safely operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed.Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are met.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Experience in construction, specifically in woodworking and plumbing. This is not an entry level position, but requires knowledge of construction principales and skills.Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficient in using shop tools including calipers, micrometers, edge banders, sliding table saws, band saws, belt sanders, and router tables.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
