Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Jackson MS
Duration: Long Term Contract

Skillset:

• Cataloging and organization of agency data resources with the ultimate goal of creating a public facing agencywide data catalog
• Assisting with the selection and implementation of an updated process for managing external requests for data and public records
• Supporting the creation and implementation of project timelines
• Consistent and effective communication with agency staff supporting the projects and maintaining focus on project goals and meeting deadlines
• Assist with the collecting organizing and leveraging large amounts of data across multiple subject matters to enable more accessible utilization and analysis of the data using data lakes warehouses lakehouses catalogs etc

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience participating in all daytoday aspects (planning organizing budgeting etc.) of multifaceted data management and/or modernization projects
• Assisting with the collection cataloguing and leveraging of large amounts of data across multiple subject matters to enable more accessible utilization and analysis of that data using data lakes warehouses catalogs etc.
• Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers involved in the collection management and development of agency data resources in order to advance the agencys data modernization goals
• Experience working under data and IT security national standards applicable to the management and security of protected health information
• Working knowledge of data management visualization and analysis tools used to organize leverage and share multiple forms of data
• Experience working with multiple types of vendors of modern data management and analysis software systems and applications.

Preferred Skills:
Governmental data modernization or project management experience
