Job Description:

Gather and process raw, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data using batch and real-time data processing frameworks. Develop and improve all levels of SQL coding assets including tables, views, stored procedures, user defined functions and triggers in collaboration with the Data Analyst and BI Developer while adhering to technical solution standards and demonstrating flexibility when required. Develop and utilize data testing, integration testing, and impact analysis, collaborate with team members to validate data solutions. Independently develop reference materials (database diagrams, flow charts, script documentation, etc.) for supported data processing technologies to be used for both online and in-person training of other technical staff. Manage assigned projects or service lines and meet deadlines with no supervision from supervisor and/or manager. Develop training programs and materials to train end-users and mentor and develop team members. Interface with clients, vendors, and multiple technology teams while providing resolution to incidents and problems as escalated from the Technology Service Center. Able to independently perform an effective root cause analysis. Able to independently use software development concepts to develop solutions quickly and efficiently (CI/CD, unit testing, publish-subscribe architecture, REST interfaces, etc.). Employer allows remote work from home.

What We Require:

Required education/experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field  plus 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or any related occupation.
