Position Title: Data Entry Clerk

Job Summary:

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining various types of data into our computer systems and ensuring the information is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible. The ideal candidate should have excellent typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Entry: Accurately enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and other software applications.
• Data Verification: Verify data accuracy by comparing it to source documents.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain and organize digital and paper files to ensure all information is easily accessible and retrievable.
• Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality and security of all data and information.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members to clarify data-related issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
