Job Description

Stratus is seeking a highly skilled Data Reporting Manager/Lead to join our team. This individual will play a key role in managing data reporting projects, working closely with the business to gather and organize reporting demands, and executing reporting solutions in a Power BI environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data reporting and analysis, particularly in the P&C (Property and Casualty) Specialty domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate those into actionable insights.
• Lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of reporting solutions, with a focus on Power BI.
• Organize and structure data to support business intelligence needs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms.
• Drive process improvements to streamline reporting workflows and improve data access and usage.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, providing strategic insights through reporting and data analysis.
• Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of business reporting needs.

• Lead Experience: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data reporting and likely have people leadership experience or demonstrated leadership in cross-functional team collaboration.
• Strong experience with Data Reporting using Power BI and an ability to communicate complex data to stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of the P&C Specialty industry is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and business leaders.
• Proven ability to organize and manage multiple reporting demands and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Microsoft Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
• Azure SQL Database for data management and queries.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data pipeline orchestration.
• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) (limited experience is acceptable).
• JSON for data exchange and management.
• Percipience Data Magnifier as our underlying data store.
