Dental Front Office Receptionist Location Atlanta, GA (Midtown area) :
Our dental practice in the Midtown area is looking for a Bilingual Front Desk Associate ! Job responsibilities include answering the phone, scheduling appointments and verifying insurance, treatment planning and answering any questions patients have while providing excellent customer service.

Experience:

- Dental office experience 2 years (Required)
- Reliably commute to work
- Excellent communication and strong customer service skills
- A minimum of two years' experience required in a fast-paced dental office with PPO insurance (preferred)
- Experience with dental software Open Dental (preferred)
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish) (preferred)
- Collections experience (preferred)
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent computer skills
- Comfortable in high- volume environment

Responsibilities:
- Have patients complete demographic forms as necessary, review forms, and update on system for new and existing patients
- Answer phone calls, texts, emails, etc regarding patient appointments & questions.
- Collects patient's payments at time of visit.
- Document in Open Dental payments.
- Educate and discuss the dentist's treatment plan with the patient after diagnosed and reviewed by the clinical staff, explain, promote, and adhere to company payment policies and procedures
- Obtain high treatment acceptance by explaining cost of treatment, insurance coverage and finance options
- Present treatment plans and give estimates of treatment costs in an effective manner
- Sense of urgency when guiding patients to prioritize their treatment and providing scheduling options
- Track all outstanding treatment plans, make phone calls for recalls and unscheduled treatment plans daily
- Submit, track and follow-up on pre-authorizations
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Confirm patient appointments two (2) business days prior to the patients' appointments.
- Collect payment from patients prior to visit and allocate accordingly
- Send insurance claims accordingly to billing company
- Monitor accounts daily for the following day for outstanding balances and have plan for collection.
- Must be professional and personable when interacting with patients, whether on the phone or in-person, to create a great first impression of the practice
- Ensure accurate and positive communication skills when forming connections during consultations and discovering optimal payment plans for each patient
- Promote flexibility and understanding when scheduling, rescheduling, and using the proper callback system to maintain office flow in an energetic and exciting work environment
- Exhibit strong organizational skills when collecting co-payments, and verifying insurance
- Participate in morning huddle, chart review and all routine office meetings as necessary.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years in a dental or healthcare field
- Experience in dental or medical field with scheduling and verifying insurance preferred
- Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office products, dental software, and ability to learn new programs

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
