Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As Deputy Program Manager - Engineering (DPME) for the Multipurpose Interactive Trainers team, youll lead a highly skilled cross functional team responsible for integrating tactical software onto a submarine training system deployed to schoolhouses all over the US and Australia to meet the training needs of the fleet.

• Strong background in the submarine training systems domain.
• Proficient demonstration of proactive leadership and ability to motivate teams of 10-20 engineers through system design, implementation, and deployment.
• Proficient understanding of engineering processes and practices, with proven problem-solving skills in complex environments.
• Proficient ability to anticipate technology, process, and skill needs, and to create an enviornment in which impact of technology on the business is clearly recognized.
• Proficient ability to easily and effectively communicate project topics, to include issues, impacts, and corrective actions, to a diverse audience.

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $116,811.40 - USD $129,587.60 /Yr.
