We are seeking an experienced Directional Drill Operator/Locator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in operating and locating directional drilling equipment for the installation of underground utilities.
Responsibilities:
- Operate directional drilling equipment to safely and efficiently complete underground utility installations
- Use locating equipment to accurately determine the position and depth of existing utilities
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure successful completion of projects
- Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Directional Drill Operator/Locator
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
