We are is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team in Orlando . This role is perfect for individuals passionate about event planning and looking to gain hands-on experience in organizing various types of events. You will assist the events team in the planning, coordination, and execution of company and client events.

Pay:

$20.50 - $31.50 per hour

Responsibilities :

• Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including corporate functions, promotional events, and trade shows.
• Support the team in researching venues, negotiating with vendors, and arranging event logistics.
• Help manage event timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
• Assist with marketing and promotional efforts for events, including creating flyers, brochures, and online content.
• Coordinate event-related communications with vendors, clients, and team members.
• Help with the setup, management, and breakdown of events on-site.
• Assist in managing event registration, guest lists, and RSVPs.
• Provide general administrative support to the events team, including data entry, scheduling, and reporting.
• Ensure that events are executed smoothly, addressing any issues that arise during the event.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong interest in event planning with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of event management software is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
