We are hiring an MBSE Model Based Systems Engineer to support a key programs at NSWC Crane.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, integrate, and simulate models of platforms, systems, and/or processes
Review, extract, and abstract data from technical documentation to implement with system modeling
Able to model all 9 System Modeling Language (SysML) diagrams using Cameo Systems Modeler/MagicDraw.
Work effectively with other team members, stakeholders, and Program management office
•Ability to articulate benefits of MBSE to non-technical decision-makers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
1-5 years of Systems Engineering experience
2+ of MBSE experience creating SysML models using Cameo Systems Modeler or MagicDraw
Able to generate CDRL documents from the MBSE models such as Requirements, Architecture, Interface Documents
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Please note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
EDUCATION
Engineering Degree from an ABET-accredited Engineering program
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 - 5 years of Systems Engineering and/or MBSE experience, Master’s Degree with 2 years
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Able to obtain and maintain Security Clearance
Experience with SysML diagram types, Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
Experience creating SysML models along with associated analyzes and simulation artifacts using Cameo Systems Modeler
Familiarity with MagicGrid Methodology or Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Model (OOSEM) a plus
