Talent One Recruitement &Staffing is hiring a Forklift Operator for a distribution center located in Commerce.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Morning shift M-F 830am -5pm schedule may start earlier for overtime: example 730am - 5pm (as needed)

The forklift operator will safely operate all kinds of forklift machines at a very busy warehouse. Duties will include load/unload trucks, pick, pack, palletize, put away, and move product throughout the warehouse. Loading and unloading merchandise; organizing and sorting accordingly. Assist inventory with cycle counts and discrepancies. Assist and maintain warehouse and workspace organization and cleanliness. Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift, scissor lift, and/or stock picker certification.
• Distribution Center work experience.
• Ability to speak and understand understand basic English.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to continuously perform the essential functions of the job for an 8 hour workday; with the exception of designated meal and rest periods.
• Must be able to detect signs of dangerous obstacles and hear any horns/warning devices at a distance of 30 feet.
• Work involves climbing step-ladders.
• Work involves walking, standing, kneeling, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to maintain standing / walking position throughout the workday.

Requirements:

• Warehouse experience: 2 years (Required).
• Stand up forklift: 2 years (Required).
• Sit down forklift operating: 2 years (Required).
