Kelly® Professional & Industrial is hiring for Experienced Forklift Drivers for a leading manufacturer of household appliances, specializing in electric and gas ovens, washer and dryers, vacuum cleaners, refrigerators, and more in Springfield, Tennessee.
Weekly Pay Rate:
$21/hr - $24.50/hr
Shift differential
Shifts: Flexible Start & End Time ( need to be able to work anytime during the shift you select)
1st Shift: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
2nd Shift: 1:00 pm - 11:30pm
Forklift Driver Duties:
Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and goods around warehouses, factories, and other locations.
Use forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks, containers, shelves, or other storage areas. This requires careful maneuvering and attention to weight distribution.
Conduct pre-use checks of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition. This includes checking fluid levels, tires, brakes, and controls.
Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory within warehouses or storage facilities. Forklift drivers often play a key role in ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
Keep accurate records of materials handled, noting quantities, locations, and any relevant details. This documentation helps in inventory management and order fulfillment.
Forklift Driver Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 months of forklift experience.
Ability to work in varying temperature environments.
Able to pass a written forklift test
