General Labor Workers Needed!

Physical Labor / Hard Working position!

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND CLEAN BACKGROUND!

Location : Detroit, MI

Pay starts at $20/hour

Requirements :

• Must have a fully flexible schedule (will be assigned to a specific shift, but be available to cover others if needed)
• Must have a clean criminal background
• Must be willing to work outdoors

Job Duties:

• Concrete and asphalt paving inspections and repairs

• Drywall/plaster repair and painting

• Furniture assembly and relocation

• Changing lights and/or fixtures

• Plumbing repairs, replacements, installation

• Carpentry repairs and installations (doors, shelves, countertops)

• Minor repair of electrical devices

• Facilities safety inspections

• Grounds and security maintenance (fencing, gate arms and gates)

• Landscaping

• Equipment & Tool Operations

• Mechanical Repair & Trouble Shooting

Further Requirements :

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience working with the public
• Good communication skills
• Experience performing general labor funtions and facility maintenance (2 years minimum)
• General knowledge of Various Equipment
• Ability to drive company trucks, including snow plows and salters in Winter
• Ability to operate heavy and light duty towing equipment
• Ability to operate forklift, front end loader, etc
• Ability to work in tight spaces
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, ability to move 100+ pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
