Job Description

A Hug Away Healthcare is dedicated to providing exceptional home health, hospice, and medical equipment services. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Biller to join our team and help us establish a billing company that will expand our services across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage billing and collections for Medicare and Medicaid in Texas.
• Handle credentialing processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing issues.
• Maintain patient billing records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of billing policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in home health, hospice, and medical equipment billing.
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing regulations in Texas.
• Experience with credentialing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
