HVAC Estimating Manager

Position Overview
The HVAC Estimating Manager is responsible for leading the estimating team in the preparation and submission of competitive bids for HVAC installation projects. This role involves collaborating with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely estimates that meet project requirements and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the HVAC estimating team in the preparation of project estimates.
• Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project details and requirements.
• Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to prepare thorough and competitive bids.
• Maintain and update estimating databases to reflect current labor and material costs.
• Prepare detailed cost analyses and reports for management review.
• Assist in the development of bid strategies and pricing proposals.
• Ensure that all estimates comply with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in HVAC estimating and management roles.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation processes, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation.
• Proficient in estimating software and tools.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
