Job Title: IT Manager

Location: West Haverstraw, NY (Onsite)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, including leadership roles.
• Extensive experience in application and desktop support, networking, and infrastructure management.
• Strong technical expertise in networking, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Proficiency in managing Linux/Unix and Windows servers, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.
• Hands-on experience with PBX/VOIP systems and backup technologies.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex IT systems and provide innovative solutions.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing IT teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of healthcare IT compliance and data security standards is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• ITIL Foundation Certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the IT operations and infrastructure at Helen Hayes Hospital.
• Assess and support the maintenance of operations in application and desktop support, networking, and infrastructure support.
• Manage and troubleshoot IT systems, including networking, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Ensure the reliability and security of Linux/Unix and Windows servers, cloud computing, and other virtualization technologies.
• Oversee and maintain PBX/VOIP communication systems and backup technologies.
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with hospital goals and industry best practices.
• Monitor IT performance and security, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to ensure IT services meet operational needs.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to IT specialists and support staff.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IT services and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare IT regulations and data security policies.
• Plan and oversee IT projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
