Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join our team on a contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will oversee the management and support of a Mac-based technical environment, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance. This position requires a hands-on leader who can efficiently handle device management, user support, and system monitoring. Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain a Mac-based technical infrastructure, including device configuration and operating system updates. - Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless access to required systems and tools. - Monitor service metrics and address system anomalies to maintain a high level of operational efficiency. - Provide troubleshooting and support for tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and related software. - Administer and optimize endpoint management systems like Jamf Pro for device management. - Ensure secure and efficient user authentication through Okta and similar services. - Collaborate with team members to enhance IT workflows and improve system reliability. - Maintain accurate documentation for IT processes and procedures. - Utilize Jira to track tickets, report metrics, and identify areas for improvement. Requirements - Proficiency in managing a Mac OS environment, including device support and configuration. - Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro for endpoint management. - Strong knowledge of authentication tools like Okta. - Familiarity with Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack for workplace collaboration. - Proven ability to monitor and analyze IT service metrics. - Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide team members and collaborate effectively. - Experience with Jira for ticketing and reporting. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
