job summary:
Our client, a leader in civil engineering and surveying, is looking for a Landscape Designer. Key qualifications include 1-3 years of experience preparing schematic designs, design development, and construction documents for site development projects, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite. A bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or a relevant field is required.
Key responsibilities include collaborating on design projects for healthcare facilities, urban plazas, residential developments, commercial centers, and corporate campuses. This role involves analyzing site and environmental data, integrating land features into CAD designs, and selecting materials. Responsibilities also include assisting with landscape plans, construction drawings, and presentation graphics, and coordinating with engineers, designers, and technicians. Effective time management, communication with team members and clients, and site visits as needed are essential. Additional tasks include developing graphic designs, preparing construction documents, and creating technical drawings such as grading, layout, and planting plans, among other duties as assigned.
