Lead Motion Graphics Designer Location Hybrid remote in Santa Ana, CA :

ENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

NIS America, Inc., publisher of video games in both North America and Europe, is looking to add a Public Relations Representative to the Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will be someone who is intimately familiar with games and gaming, follows the latest voices and publications about gaming, and is persistent in finding new ways to break through the noise and get top tier coverage of our games.

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

NIS America, Inc., publisher of video games in both North America and Europe, is looking to add a Lead Motion Graphics Designer to the Multimedia Production Team. The ideal candidate will be someone interested in working on projects involving games and gaming (with a bonus being our titles or signature genres).

This role is with the Motion Graphics Department, where you will play a supervisory role assisting the department manager with other team members, as well as working on your own projects, such as creating trailers & other graphic materials for marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Motion Design and Editing

o Create engaging and memorable video game trailers using game footage, graphics, BGM, and SFX. (example:

o Create shorts, story videos, live live-action videos to be posted on company social media.

o Edit interview videos, event panels, commentary, and event showcase

· Graphic Design

o Create sales banners to be used for promotional purposes

o Create metadata icons and banners used for the digital storefront

· Project and Asset Management

o Keep track of the overall team's project status, and review and improve the internal production process

o Support and contribute to proper departmental file management and production process, ensuring successful collaboration for all inter-departmental members who are involved in the production process

· Leadership

o Work with the manager and act as a leader and creative problem solver, lending expertise to the Motion Graphics team members.

o Work as a mentor to other Motion Graphics team members by sharing best-practices and providing feedback on existing work

Required Qualifications:

● Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; or one or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.(Motion Graphics, Video Editing, Graphic Design, Multimedia Art or related field a plus)

● High proficiency in post-production software and editing techniques, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and various plug-ins.

● Proficient in Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator.

● Outstanding organization and project management skills.

● Strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a fluid and fast-paced environment.

● Excellent critical thinking, communication, and analytics skills.

● Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

● Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

● Proficiency with Google workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.

● Strong attention to deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in creating a trailer movie for a video game, anime, or film.

● Experience in producing social media content, such as short videos and banners.

● Experience in video and photo shooting.

● Proficiency and knowledge in cameras, studio lighting, and audio equipment.

● Understanding of video game concepts, terms, and gameplay (in particular RPGs).

● Familiar with video game and movie trailers and can come up with creative ideas and production methods.

● Ability to read and understand Japanese language.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Work is typically performed either in an office environment with a moderate noise level or at your home.

· While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to frequently sit and occasionally must stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and may lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

· Specific vision abilities include the ability to read and analyze data in hard copy and on a computer screen, measure, or identify using eyesight and adjust vision focus.

· Abilities to communicate verbally and in writing to individuals and groups.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
