We’re actively hiring skilled **Legal Assistants** on a **1099 contractor basis** to support our growing attorney client base. You will work fully remotely, providing administrative and litigation support in Texas personal injury cases.
This is a **project-based, long-term contract role** for experienced professionals who are confident managing legal workflows independently.
* Conduct new client legal intake and organize initial case data
* E-file and e-serve documents in Texas and federal courts
* Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and attorney meetings
* Draft correspondence (cover letters, memos, case updates)
* Maintain organized digital case files
* Support case managers and attorneys with backend task management
* Ensure timely, professional communication with clients
* 10+ years of legal assistant experience (personal injury law preferred)
* Strong knowledge of Texas court procedures and calendaring rules
* Excellent written, organizational, and time management skills
* Familiarity with legal practice management tools
* Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
* **Duration:** Ongoing contract work (project-based per case)
* **Pay:** Hourly rate starts from $5- $30(commensurate with experience)
