- OP: New OB, established OB, new Gyn issues & surgical consultations; Surgical blocks are twice per week for non-emergent surgeries.
- Includes all OB & emergency gyne & OB cases.
• Patient Volume:
- OP: 16-25
- IP: 3-6
• Patient Demographics: Adult, Adolescent
• Annual Births: 600 per yr
• Monthly Births: 50 per month
• No. of Surgeries Per Week: 4-6
• Admissions Required: Yes
• % of Practice:
- Clinic is 3.5 days/week & 2 half OR days
• Specialty Back-up: Skilled gen surgeons & urologist.
• Support Staff: Lab Tech, LPN/LVN, MA, X-ray Tech, RN; with CRNAs & midwives.
• Required Procedures: All ob/gyn procedures including C-section & Hysterectomies.
• No. of Beds: 10
• EMR: Epic
• NICU Level: No NICU at Dodge
• Other Info: No FMOBs at this time.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
• KS License
• BC/BE in OB/GYN (If BE, must be 5 yrs post residency)
• BLS
• DEA (will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
• Procedure Logs within the past 24 mos (At least 5 Hysterectomies, 5 C-Sections & Deliveries)
• Understand & follow EMR training guidelines.
• Complete the EMR Questionnaire.
• Able to cover BOTH clinic & call.
