Overview:
BASIC FUNCTION: We are looking for a highly engaging, customer focused individual to join our team as Purchasing Receiver. The successful candidate for this role is engaging, highly detailed, and is open to learning and leading by example, responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team, as well as being there to support the team both personally and professionally.
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces: Cleaning, scraping, wire brushing, steam cleaning, or abrasive blast cleaning surfaces.
- Applying coatings: Using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other equipment to apply under and finish coats of paint.
- Mixing paints: Matching paints and other coatings to ensure color consistency and to match existing coatings.
- Maintaining equipment: Cleaning, performing routine maintenance, and repairing equipment.
- Examining finished surfaces: Verifying conformance to specifications and retouching any defective areas.
- Operating vehicles: Transporting personnel, equipment, and hazardous materials
- In this contract position, you are a master at restoring walls to their original perfection
- Your daily routine involves conducting detailed assessments to identify areas requiring care and attention
- Equipped with joint compound and tape, you expertly repair holes and cracks with precision
- Whether replicating existing patterns or crafting new ones, you ensure seamless integration of repairs
- Through applying layers of compound and meticulous sanding, you revive walls to a faultless state, delivering impeccable results every time
Qualifications:
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
ENVIRONMENT:
Works in all areas of the property, both inside and outside possible in inclement weather. Must be able to work at various heights on ladders, roofs, etc.
- Someone with a High school diploma or equivalent.
- Someone with prior engineering/painting experience preferred
- Someone able to read, write and speak English
- Someone who can work well under pressure
- Someone who is an excellent communicator
- Someone who enjoys working in a team environment
- Someone with the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Someone who is comfortable with interacting with the guests and associates
- Someone with strong problem solving skills and can do so with a tactful manner
- Someone who is able to frequently lift & carry up to 50-75 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.; such lifting to including carrying weight up and down stairs
