The Estée Lauder Companies seeks an experienced, highly motivated and energetic trademark paralegal to join its fast paced in-house trademark department. Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

· Conducting preliminary domestic and international screening searches;

· Reviewing and analyzing full search reports;

· Filing U.S. trademark applications, Statements of Use, Extensions of Time, Renewals, Section 8 & 15 Affidavits, Responses to Office Actions, Assignments, Notices of Opposition and related documents;

· Reviewing watch notices;

· Liaising with foreign associates regarding clearance, prosecution and conflict matters;

· Support attorneys with domestic and international conflicts including gathering evidence;

· Support domain name registration and management and anti-counterfeiting enforcement.

Qualifications

· Minimum 5+ years’ experience, including domestic and international searching;

· College Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate;

· Working knowledge of Saegis or similar search database, TM management system (preferably IPfolio or general Salesforce experience), Legal Tracker, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel;

· Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure;

· Foreign language skills and industry experience a plus but not required;

· In-house experience preferred.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $40.00 to $60.00. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
