Job Description

Rockpoint is searching for individuals with a reliable vehicle for an opportunity to assist us with our ongoing sales campaigns throughout California. Preferably, we are looking for drivers who can drive between to 2-4 days a week and have consistent, reliable availability. This opportunity is as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Our sales routes begin typically between 8:00am-8:30am
• Pick up pre-paid cookies or treats prior to picking up Sales Associate.
• Send pickup confirmation to the Sales Associate with a time of pickup and morning mileage.
• Drive Sales Associates between appointments and coordinate efficient pickups and drop-offs with Sales Associates.
• Remain responsive during idle times.
• Sales routes typically last 8 hours, and idle time between pickups and drop-offs can vary.
• Routes will be determined by Thursday of each week, and you can choose which route days to commit to. Route confirmation is needed by the end of the day, the Friday before the week of routes.
• The Sales Associate will work on a computer in the car, and we ask that drivers maintain clean vehicles and peaceful driving operation along with music/radio at a volume that is not deemed distracting by the Sales Associate.

Requirements

• Be at least 25 years old, with no more than 2 points
• A four-door, well-functioning vehicle
• valid car insurance with limits of $100/300/50 or $300,000-combined single-limit policy
• A valid driver's license
• At least one year of licensed driving experience in the US
• Willing to undergo a standard background verification & clearance of MVR.
• Positive Respectful Attitude
• Must be Punctual
• Car charger and navigation (phone navigation ok)

Benefits

Compensation:

• $240 rate for standard 8 hours ( or the equivalent of $30.00/hr for fractions of time less than 8 hours)
• Hours over 8 hours will be compensated at $25/hr
• Will be compensated for mileage at $0.67/mile (or current IRS rate of reimbursement)
