MANTECH is seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team onsite in Norfolk, VA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead and coordinate the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating, and planning for single or multiple projects or work streamsCoordinate systems development for major applications, define project requirements including information and data needs, business analysis and programmingCoordinate all meetings and interface with business units, staff and service providersDirect and manage project development from beginning to end while defining the project scope, goals and deliverablesDetermine if external consultants or contractors should be added to the internal project and/or development team(s) in order to successfully complete the projectDaily Management and coordination of all technical and logistical aspects of a project including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items and change requestsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant project management experience or equivalent education and years of experience in lieu of degreeExperience with planning and developing project scheduleExperience with resource managementExperience with managing cost, schedule, and performancePreferred Qualifications:PMP CertificationPrior experience with NavyPrior experience with Navy Continuous Training Environment programClearance Requirements:US Citizenship required and an Active Secret Security clearance Physical Requirements:Up to 25% travel required or as needed.Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
