Project Overview:
We are looking for a skilled behavior researcher to join us in enhancing. Your expertise will help us refine our learning modules, instructional nudges, and Ember development, ensuring they are grounded in adult learning and behavior science. Your insights will be crucial in driving meaningful behavior change among educators and improving our content's alignment with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Module Review and Enhancement:
Task: Evaluate existing learning modules to identify and implement revisions that align with principles of adult learning and behavior science.
Goal: Ensure the content is engaging, effective, and informed by behavioral science.
Deliverable: A comprehensive feedback report with actionable recommendations for improvement.
2. Behavior Science Integration Plan:
Task: Develop a strategic plan for integrating behavior science into the development of future modules.
Examples: Create a "Behavior Scientist Checklist" to assist Module Instructional Specialists in module creation.
Goal: Infuse behavior science into every aspect of module development.
Deliverable: A detailed step-by-step integration plan.
3. Review of MVP Requirements, Theory of Action (ToA), and Impact Data Plan:
Task: Assess our MVP requirements, Theory of Action, and impact data plan to ensure alignment with behavioral science principles.
Goal: Strengthen the foundational documents that guide the project's success.
Deliverable: Annotated documents with suggestions for improvement and collaborative enhancements to measure the platform's impact on teacher behavior and student outcomes.
4. Continuous Support & Timeline:
Task: Provide ongoing consultation throughout the expansion and iteration of our modules.
Timeline: Immediate start with regular check-ins over the next 6-12 months.
Goal: Keep the project on track and evolving with the latest research in behavior science.
Deliverable: Periodic progress reports and real-time feedback during the development process.
Milestones:
Month 1:
Complete the initial module review and deliver the feedback report.
Draft the behavior science integration plan.
Month 2:
Review and provide feedback on MVP requirements, Theory of Action, and impact data plan.
Present the behavior science integration plan to the team.
Ongoing (Months 3-12):
Conduct regular bi-monthly check-ins and progress reviews.
Continuously refine modules based on feedback and emerging research.
Perform a final review of updated modules at the end of the support period.
