RN Chronic Wound Care Nurse

Description:

The RN Chronic Wound Care Nurse provides care for patients suffering from chronic wounds, including diabetic ulcers and venous insufficiency wounds. This nurse will perform wound assessments, apply advanced treatments, and monitor healing progress. They will also provide education on managing chronic conditions that affect wound healing, such as diabetes and poor circulation.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience in chronic wound care.
• Proficient in managing diabetic ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and other chronic wounds.
• Knowledge of advanced wound care techniques and products, including compression therapy.
• Ability to educate patients and families on chronic wound management and prevention.
• Excellent assessment and documentation skills.
