Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. This part-time role is focused on sales, constituting about 90% of the responsibilities, with the remaining 10% dedicated to supporting our marketing efforts, particularly in event coordination and content management.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for B2B sales, with a talent for building relationships and a proven track record in sales performance. We value a consultative sales approach, focusing on building long-term relationships with clients and understanding their needs to offer tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales through direct client interactions, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. This includes confidently executing on basic tactics like emails, phone calls, and in-person interactions to cultivate leads and build relationships.
- Assist with marketing tasks, including event coordination and content management.
- Collaborate with the team to identify new sales opportunities and contribute to the businesses' long-term growth.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, paperwork, answering phones, and more.
- Assist in the distribution of magazines.*

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of B2B sales experience or equivalent demonstrated ability in sales. We value talent and passion for sales, and are open to candidates who have shown a strong ability to achieve sales targets, even if they come from diverse professional backgrounds.
- A strong passion for the community and local businesses.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective client interactions and relationship building.
- Technologically adept, comfortable with standard office and sales software. This includes proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Project Management tools, and CRM systems.
- Familiarity with content management and digital design tools is beneficial, including WordPress, Constant Contact, social media platforms, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.)**

* Distribution of magazines will require a valid California Driver's License, proof of a registered vehicle for use, and auto insurance on the vehicle for use. Drivers are required to pass a background check and drug screening at any time. Drivers must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs at a time.
