***Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future*** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master with 9 to 13 years of experience specializing in Scrum activities. This role involves working in a hybrid model with day shifts. Responsible for ensuring that the Scrum framework is effectively implemented within the team. This role focuses on enabling collaboration, removing impediments, and fostering continuous improvement to deliver high-quality products. **Key Responsibilities:** · Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. · Guide team members and stakeholders on Scrum principles, practices, and values. · Identify and eliminate blockers that hinder team progress. · Assist with backlog refinement and ensure clarity of priorities. · Maintain Scrum artifacts (boards, burndown charts) and ensure visibility of progress. · Help the team adhere to Scrum theory, rules, and practices. · Encourage retrospectives and implement actionable improvements. · Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders. · Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks. · Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. · Ability to remove impediments and improve team dynamics. · Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile platforms. · Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. **Qualifications:** · Proven experience in Scrum implementation and Agile methodologies. · Strong facilitation and coaching skills to guide teams effectively. · Expertise in using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence. · Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. · Ability to identify and resolve impediments promptly. · Experience in fostering continuous improvement within teams. · Relevant certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent preferred. **Compensation:** - Annual salary range: $95,000 to $109,000 USD - Bonus eligibility based on performance - Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
