Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect Consultant to help enhance a key system in alignment with evolving architecture standards. This role will focus on ensuring the security and resilience of the system, guiding the development of security solutions, and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to ensure seamless and secure functionality across applications.
As a Security Architect Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for all security-related decisions, proactively addressing vulnerabilities, offering strategic recommendations, and driving improvements in DevSecOps maturity.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and extend security architectures to enhance the system's resilience and compliance.
Provide actionable recommendations and solutions related to security for migrating applications to the Cloud and containers.
Lead and coordinate activities to remediate security vulnerabilities identified in scans, and address customer security requests.
Offer expert advice and recommendations during meetings, focusing on security within the Portal that hosts various applications.
Ensure compliance with necessary deliverables, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Contribute to estimating efforts for impact assessments and vulnerability remediation.
Guide the implementation of DevSecOps practices to improve security across the project.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
CISSP Certification.
At least 8 years of experience in developing security architectures for large and complex programs, working with stakeholders such as customers, partners, and teams.
Minimum 8 years of experience leading teams of architects or developers.
At least 5 years of experience developing security architecture for Cloud-based applications.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working with containerized applications and securing them.
Experience with:
Developing security solutions for AWS GovCloud.
Microservices security.
Architecting Spring Boot applications.
Enhancing Portal architecture.
Designing DevSecOps solutions for complex projects.
Working within the Linux platform.
Using tools like IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Git SCM.
Providing (V)ROM estimates in response to new work requests.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in developing solutions for monitoring and security requirements.
Knowledge of relational database technologies.
Familiarity with CMMI Level 3 Process Areas and Agile Lean methodologies.
Experience with government cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud).
Expertise with WebMethods, ESB, API Gateways, Event Driven Architecture, and Kafka.
Experience with Ping Identity.
