Job Description

As an SEO Specialist, you will:

• Research search trends and ideate new SEO strategies across multiple verticals
• Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned to buyer personas and lifecycle stages
• Analyze website performance, make SEO best practices recommendations, and partner cross-functionally to deploy continuous improvement of website performance
• Oversee the migration and integration of various websites into a single site using SEO best practices
• Prioritize and execute with our development team to implement and roll out new features and content
• Provide SEO best practices and input on large cross-team website redesign projects
• Oversee the localization and subsequent performance of content into our foreign language sites (bilingual/multilingual not a requirement)
• Communicate, coordinate, and align with many stakeholders across different parts of the organization.

As an SEO Specialist, within the firs 12 months, you will:

First 90 days:

• Fully familiarize yourself with our web content, structure, and current SEO practices.
• Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing web content, identifying areas of opportunity and gaps against competitors.
• First 6 Months:
• Present a detailed SEO audit report with identified issues, opportunities, and a competitive analysis.
• Develop and execute a strategic SEO action plan to address current issues and leverage new opportunities.
• Implement quick-win SEO improvements to optimize existing content and structure.

First 12 Months:

• Execute the SEO action plan, focusing on both on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
• Monitor and analyze site performance using SEO tools, providing regular reports on progress and adjustments.
• Optimize for local SEO and mobile SEO to enhance visibility and user experience.
• Achieve a recognizable improvement in organic traffic and conversion rates.
• Continuously track and measure the impact of SEO efforts, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes, ensuring our strategies remain effective.
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Digital Marketing professional, running enterprise organic inbound marketing or content marketing projects in B2B marketing required, including significant experience working with or for software / technology businesses. Experience working with start-ups or high-growth / PE-backed companies will be of substantial benefit. 
• Strong track record of researching, building, and launching successful SEO landing pages that provide meaningful customer value.
• Demonstrated business acumen that allows you to forecast and communicate SEO impact.
• Experience with SEO best practices including creating and delivering content marketing and technical SEO best practices for content migrations.
• Experience with keyword research, URL taxonomy development, and various keyword mapping and categorization strategies.
• Advanced understanding of industry tools i.e. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Moz or similar SEO tools.
• Experience with project management tools such as Wrike; able to follow and develop processes.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills, and experience working in Google Looker Studio, Power BI, etc.
• Experience with data integrations and tools such as Zapier and Supermetrics is a plus.
