Job Title: Surgical Tech II

Location: Grapevine, Texas

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Shift Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36

Salary: $25 - $36

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and instruments for surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe surgeries.
• Perform surgical counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments.
• Assist with patient preparation, draping, and positioning.
• Ensure proper cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of equipment.
• Follow infection control policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain inventory and manage surgical supplies.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Certification:
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT OR
• Completion of formal training in surgical technology through the military/public health service OR
• Employed in a surgical technologist role in a healthcare facility prior to September 1, 2009.
• Basic Life Support (BLS): Required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
