Systems and Network Engineer (REMOTE)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Systems and Network Engineer to manage and optimize our network infrastructure and systems. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions while ensuring system reliability and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization, cloud services, and network protocols, with a passion for improving IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architectures and systems to support business operations.
• Manage and optimize VMware and Azure environments for performance and reliability.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services to ensure seamless productivity and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN configurations.
• Implement and maintain firewall policies to secure network traffic.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevSecOps practices in deployment pipelines.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems and Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of VMware, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Proficiency in network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
• Experience with firewall management and security best practices.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Clearance required: This position requires a National Agency Check (NACI) background clearance.
