Job Description

AM Home Delivery group has an exciting opportunity at our dedicated distribution center in Sante Fe Springs for a Warehouse Lead. When you join AM Home Delivery, as a warehouse lead, you will become part of a team that cares about working together and is focused on Safety, and Customer Service.

Specifics:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist Terminal Manager and lead warehouse team with inbound and outbound shipments.
• Collaborate with transportation dept, operations team members and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and achieve daily operational goals and meet daily key performance metrics
• Load and unload trailers with incoming and outgoing shipments of goods and materials.
• Safely and efficiently handle products, following proper procedures to prevent damage or loss.
• Utilize material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move and store items as needed.
• Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality of products.
• Organize and maintain warehouse space to optimize efficiency and facilitate inventory management.
• Assist in the packaging, labeling, and sorting of products as necessary.
• Act as local safety champion and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Avg.. Times can change based on operations

General Requirements

• Preferable 1 year warehouse experience as a lead/supervisor role
• Reliable
• Focused on safety
• Regular, full attendance is essential to job function
• Work the required schedule at the specific location required, complete employment application, submit to a background investigation to include past employment, education and criminal history.
• Microsoft Suite and LMS experience is a plus
