WAREHOUSE LOADER JOB DESCRIPTION - GULFPORT

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Loader to join our team at our facility in Gulfport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading products onto trucks for distribution to customers. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to lift heavy items.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Efficiently load and unload products onto trucks according to shipping schedules.
2. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
3. Operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move products within the warehouse.
4. Ensure that all products are handled safely and securely to prevent damage.
5. Communicate with warehouse staff and truck drivers to coordinate loading and unloading processes.
6. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
7. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
4. Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods of time.
5. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Forklift certification a plus.
