Job Opening The Lockwood Group is currently pursuing a contract supporting The U.S. Army Sustainment Command Packaging, Storage, and Containerization Center (ASC PSCC). We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to provide recommendation for packaging training and instructions; packaging data development; improvements to the standardization of military packaging; and the development of systems supporting packaging operations in Tobyhanna, NJ.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and recommend procedures, special equipment, training, and supplies necessary to accomplish the validation of all applicable ASTM, International Standards Organization (ISO), International Safe Transit Association (ISTA), and Military Standards.
- Plan and recommend actions associated with movement of items in their shipping containers, to include assessment of those shipping containers, especially when HAZMAT is being shipped.
- Plan and recommend the assessment procedures, required by commercial standards or military regulation, through the use of environmental chambers, rough handling equipment, materials evaluation, packaging/supplies, and materials handling equipment (MHE).
- Approve final version of reporting for obsolescence management, maintenance reporting, failure reporting, asset reporting, post fielding reports etc.
- Monitor efficiency of field support personnel and makes recommendations regarding co-use of personnel.
- Perform system life-cycle cost analysis, and develop component studies.
- Provide oversight for planning and execution of training support across all programs.
Required Qualifications
- Education: BA/BS from an accredited college or university.
- Security Clearance: Must have an active Secret Clearance.
