Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to drive data governance initiatives and ensure data integrity, security, and compliance. This functional role requires collaboration with executive leadership and business stakeholders to establish governance frameworks, policies, and best practices that align with organizational goals.

The Data Governance Lead will focus on setting up governance structures, defining controls, and implementing data management standards to enhance data quality and consistency across the business. Additionally, this role will play a key part in establishing a Data Governance Center of Excellence to promote best practices and foster a data-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align data governance strategies with business objectives.
• Define and enforce data quality, security, and compliance controls.
• Lead the Data Governance Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive governance best practices.
• Work closely with business and IT teams to establish data stewardship programs.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to improve data accountability and consistency.

Experience:

• Strong background in data governance, data stewardship, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in developing and implementing governance structures and data quality frameworks.
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing a Center of Excellence for Data Governance.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and industry compliance standards.
