Job Description

Position: Investigator Liaison with Police Departments
Location: Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas
Company: KENTECH Consulting Inc.

KENTECH is seeking a skilled and experienced investigator to serve as a liaison with police departments in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct detailed reviews of candidates' internal affairs and human resources files. This position requires a licensed private investigator with a strong background in law enforcement or related fields.

Soft Skills: This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and credibility of candidates being reviewed. We encourage you to apply if you have a keen eye for detail, a strong ethical foundation, and the necessary investigative experience.

Responsibilities:

• Build rapport with agencies to make appointments and gain access to the required information.
• Obtain and thoroughly review internal affairs and human resources files for each candidate.
• Submit comprehensive reports detailing the findings from the candidate file reviews, following KENTECH specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed private investigator located in the Baltimore Area. 
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Baltimore and Washington D.C. area to City, County, and University Police Departments.
• Extensive experience in law enforcement, investigations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with internal affairs and HR processes within law enforcement agencies.
• Willingness to work on an as-needed basis.
