Job Description

This position is responsible for repairing and servicing office furniture, machines such as examining date machines, time stamps, electric staplers and other office machines used in tax processing to determine cause of malfunction. Make repairs as needed to systems furniture and customer property as directed by customer work orders; determine maintenance needs and replaces wheels of rolling stock; maintain parts inventory for use in daily repairs. Communicate parts needed to manager for ordering purposes; maintain files of documents used and prepared; maintain key inventory, making keys, installing lock cores, and repairing locks as requested by customer work order. Assemble customer equipment and office furniture as required by work order.

Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies about his/her job

• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

• Two (2) years of job-related experience including basic computer operations skills is required. Must be able to process routine reports.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
