Senior Java Developer (AWS + Scala) Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with expertise in AWS and Scala to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Our teams need to increase our developer’s pool to help us out with spinning out multiple new and rewriting existing products as part of ongoing unification. We are building a single platform that should be a base for all near real-time user targeting needs
Scala knowledge is a HUGE plus
Proactiveness and team player skills are must-haves

Requirements

Java 11+
Scala
Maven
Spring Boot, IOC, APO, Security, JMS
Lombok
BDD/Integration testing using cucumber
REST + swagger
Preferable
Flink / Spark
Terraform
Docker

This posting includes a good base salary range EPAM Canada would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, training, the demand for the role, skillset, and overall business and local labour market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: CA$100K– CA$130K.
