Job Description

Boyle Software, a BeyondSoft company, is looking to hire a Technical Project Manager on the West Coast. We expect this project to last 6-9 months, but it's very possible that you will be kept on beyond that.

 

This role will work with a West Coast team that is based out of Oregon. The role is fully remote, but we would prefer that you be located on the West Coast of the US.

 

We can only consider hiring 1099 contractors for this role at this time.

 

What will you be doing:

  • Perform SCRUM ceremonies
  • Define project responsibilities with stakeholders.
  • Support technical leads on how resources are allocated for the project.
  • Maintain project time frames, budget estimates and status reports.
  • Create management and communication plans.
  • Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties.

 

Technical skills;

  • Support technical projects from conception to implementation.
  • Strong experience with Jira and roadmap tools to plan and manage projects, epics, stories and tasks.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Supervise development and ensure that deadlines are followed.
  • Maintain the project deliverables while assessing timeline/resources and scope constraints.
  • Proven experience coordinating between technical and non-technical team members effectively
  • Prepare progress reports/dashboards for senior management.
  • Oversee the implementation of project improvements.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Solid communication tools with business as well as technical audiences.
  • Able to write clear and concise documentation, excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Excellent skills from problem-solving to communication and presentation.

 

Nice to have:

  • A degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
  • A proven track-record of successfully working in a fast-paced environment with resilience to evolving priorities and navigating with grace and flexibility.
  • Experience in PetCare, Wearables, Consumerized Health, Paid Consumer Services desired.
  • SCRUM certification
